Glasgow Climate Festival
 9th April 2016  |  Views: 56778

Come along to our fantastic event taking place on Saturday the 9th of April at George Square 2pm-5pm!

Over the past few years, communities around Scotland have been doing fabulous work around Climate Change by growing food, reducing the amount of resources used, eco forms of transport and improving energy efficiency. These projects were funded by Climate Challenge Fund by Keep Scotland Beautiful.

The Glasgow Climate Festival has been organised by the Glasgow and Clyde Valley Regional Peer to Peer Climate Network. The event will celebrate the achievements of community-led Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) projects that have worked across Glasgow and the Clyde Valley. There will be stalls demonstrating the activities of many of the projects that participate in the Network.

The Climate Festival will also include an entertainment stage and artists performing music and dance from all round the world. Each project works with different communities and all together engage with thousands of individuals.
