We were asked by the Conforti Institute to organise a series of talks on Islam, through a period of four days at the beginning of March 2011, to an international group of Xaverien Missionaries. The discussions were interesting, thought provoking and insightful. The sessions culminated with the group observing the Friday prayers.
Below are some of the comments left:
"This is a very special place. A place of strong faith. I found it very valuable and educational and I go away with a new found respect for Islam and its followers."
“I found the experience insightful and has helped open my eyes to new aspects of Islam. All I would say is that there is much more to be shared and hopefully this will be built over time.”
“I want to say just thank you for everything, your time, your wisdom and all these good things that we have received during these days.”
“Fantastic experience! So humbling to see the enthusiasm, faith and commitment of our Muslim brothers. It has deepened my faith as well as learning about Islam more importantly. I have been touched by the spiritual depth of Islam and the seriousness with which it is practiced. Many, many thanks and may God continue to bless you and walk with you.”
“Thank you for sharing/showing your faith with us/to us. It will help in my own understanding and appreciation of Islam and those Muslims who follow the Prophet. If we could all follow the Truth! Amen Salam”
