Islam for Beginners: For People Interested in Islam and New Muslims

New Class

• This is for people interested in learning the basics about Islam, Muslim or non-Muslim.

We hope to cover the following areas and other topics requested by participants.

This will be a small, informal, discussion group to meet your needs.  Sessions will include:

• Basic Beliefs and understanding
• First step in understanding Qur’an
• Prayer workshops
• Contemporary Issues
• Book Reviews.
• Question and Answer
• Social Activities

Please note that this is flexible and subject to change.

Arabic language and Qur’an recitation are covered in other sessions in the week to supplement this. We will arrange one to one time for anyone wishing to learn the prayer.

Saturday, 11.30 a.m. - 12.30 a.m.  The class will run weekly. Email to enquire about occasional holiday dates.

Course fees are to help with venue costs and we request a donation of £36 per 3 months. Please book in advance.

There is a concession for unemployed attendees and students. Non-Muslims are sponsored and attend free of charge.
