This Friday we are screening one of Take One Action's 2016 Festival highlights, At Home in the World.
This poignant film follows the lives of 5 refugee children in Denmark as they await the outcome of their family’s asylum claims, intimately capturing their extraordinary resilience and fragility – while also quietly paying tribute to their teachers’ remarkable humanity.
Ali is scared by his nightmares. His classmate, Magomed, is coping quietly with the prospect of his father’s deportation. Don't miss At Home in the World, a film about ordinary children facing extraordinary circumstances at a school for refugees. Screening at the Andalus Film Theatre, Fri 24 at 6.30pm.
